This course introduces students to the art and language of film and video production. Students are required to learn specialized vocabulary and use it to express themselves clearly in their writing about film and video. The course will focus on film and television history, criticism, analysis of video and film and shooting and editing techniques using video cameras and digital and linear editing systems.
