Initial Grade Level: 11 or 12

Curriculum for the course follows the Statistics curriculum set by the College Board and is designed to prepare students for an entry level college statistics course. The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, organizing, analyzing and drawing conclusions from data. Also, using the vocabulary of statistics, this course will teach students how to communicate statistical methods, results, and interpretations. Students will learn how to use graphing calculators to enhance the development of statistical reasoning.
