Physical Education Course 2 Law Academy focuses on preparing students to demonstrate teamwork and understanding of body movements. It reinforces the California language arts and math standards through the development of a physical education portfolio workbook for each student. The course utilizes a core concept, which encompasses team sports, individual and dual sports activities, portfolio activities, and physical fitness training and assessment. Students will perform activities to train them to pass basic law enforcement minimum physical agility requirements. Team sports, individual and dual sport activities include instruction in basic skills, rules, strategies, history, and safety. The portfolio activities are intended to teach and reinforce selected California language arts and math standards.
