This course counts toward admissions requirements for the U.C. system. This is a comprehensive college preparatory course study of the plant, animal and protist kingdoms, utilizing the laboratory approach. Emphasis will be on student-centered, student-directed activities and expanded study of the kingdoms, genetics, biochemistry, and other major topics. Statistical analysis and experimental design will be applied to biological problems.
