This course is designed for the identified limited-English-proficient (LEP) student enrolled in
English 102. The student will learn advanced oral communication skills, while stressing
vocabulary, self-esteem, problem-solving and thinking skills, and acculturation. This course will
also emphasize the oral/aural skills of English 102. The student is expected to progress from using
simple conversational English to more advanced communicational situations.
