Initial Grade Level: 11 or 12

College and Career Readiness Math (CP) is for students that require further development to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in mathematics needed for likely success in entry-level credit-bearing college coursework (e.g. Elementary and Intermediate Algebra for Statistics and Liberal Arts, Basic and Intermediate Algebra for STEM). The course will allow students to attain a deeper understanding of the conceptual categories of Number and Quantity, Algebra, and Functions, along with increased capacity with the Mathematical Practices by way of applied math performance tasks. The units covered are Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities, Graphing and Writing Linear Functions, Solving Systems of Linear Equations, Exponential Function and Sequences, and Data Analysis and Displays.
