The Advanced Placement Program in Studio Art is intended for the highly motivated student interested in the serious study of art and involves significantly more time than the typical high school course. A collective body of work addressing aesthetic perception, creative expression, visual art heritage, and aesthetic valuing will be completed inside and outside of the classroom. A specialized area of concentration and accompanying sketchbook/journal will address the quality, concentration, and breadth of the class.
