Advanced Commercial Photography (H)

Brief Description

In this course students will build upon their foundation experiences in Commercial Photography and create, research, analyze, evaluate, and respond to the artistic, the design, and the visual language elements of Photography. Students will apply their learning through the creation of photographic works that address various subsets within Commercial Photography. Through this, students will develop their own personal voice in their photographic work. Throughout the course students will be detailing their creative journey and process and research through keeping a Visual Journal (physical or virtual). Throughout the year students will work toward the culminating projects to demonstrate their learning and growth in ability. These culminating projects include students creating a portfolio, a website, and a resume.
